Have Tried Nicotine Gum and Electronic Cigarettes

by Nibu Mathew
(Denton, Texas)

I have been smoking since the year 2005. I have tried to quit smoking several times, but the efforts didnt work. I smoke one and a half pack of cigarettes daily.

Since I was aware of the fact that smoking is dangerous, I am constantly trying to figure out suitable methods to quit smoking.

I used several methods. Nicotine gum was the first method I used. Some 24 pieces of gum were used in a day, for several weeks, but it didn't work for me. Then I used electronic cigarettes that also failed. All the time it comes to my mind that I should quit smoking because it can lead to lung cancer, heart disease, stroke etc.

It is not a healthy habit at all.
