Preparing for Cold Laser Therapy





Taking time to prepare properly for your cold laser therapy session is the single most important thing you can do to help yourself to stop smoking. If you skimp here, you are dramatically reducing your odds of long term success. This is especially true for those of you who have been smoking for several years.

Remember, the laser is not a magic wand. It is a wonderful tool to help you quit smoking and to cope with nicotine withdrawal but you will also have to participate in your recovery.

You will be coping with the physical and emotional problems caused by your nicotine addiction. You are going to be developing new habits and hopefully a healthier life style. So take the time that you need to help yourself succeed.

With this in mind, if you decide to do laser therapy, you may want to book your appointment far enough in advance to give us time to work together to get you ready and for you to start forming new habits.

But, of course, if anyone wants the treatment sooner I will accommodate them as long as they are aware that they may be compromising their success.

The suggestions are a good way to prepare for your laser therapy but they will also help regardless of whatever method you choose to quit smoking.
